Website Copywriting, Company Values, and Case Studies for Engineering Company AIM
AIM provides engineering services that include design, fabrication and installation.
AIM contacted me as they were looking for a copywriter with experience in writing for the engineering sector. The company was undergoing a rebrand and required a copywriter to get to the core of their messaging.
I arranged a two-hour workshop to gather more information about the company, its background, and branding. I then proposed a structure for each website page, include the home page, about, services, and sectors pages.
To ensure that I had an in-depth understanding of AIM’s positioning in the marketplace, I started by evaluating its core values. After conducting several interviews with AIM staff, I produced a values page that outlined the company’s agile methodology.
These core values were then incorporated into each of the service pages. Once all the website copy was approved, I worked closely with AIM’s design agency to ensure that the copy and the design worked together. As a final task, I produced several short case studies based on first-hand accounts from AIM staff.
