The Client


Plotr is a careers website created to help 11 – 24 year olds discover and explore careers they’ll love. The website is based around a game that uncovers careers matched to the user’s skills, interests and personality. Used by students, teachers, parents and employers, Plotr provide an honest insight into what working in particular industries are really like.


The Work


We were asked to create SEO friendly content for over 40 different careers, to be showcased on Plotr’s new website. Each career followed a specific set of content guidelines and extensive research was needed for each assignment. This project required incredible attention to detail and fact checking, and needed to portray an informative/entertaining tone. The level of language required for this project was paramount as the website’s target audience are 11 – 24 year olds, meaning the copy had to be understood by all ages.


We also carried out on-page SEO for each career page, ensuring that all meta titles, tags and descriptions were the correct length and followed the same format throughout the website.

After an intense 4 weeks of work for Brand New Copy, Plotr’s new website launched on time and our careers content contributed to the 700+ career profiles that are now live on the site. The SEO work that we did for the client has also helped then secure impressive search engine rankings.
